One great alternative to delivering by automobile is to ride a bicycle. As long as you're well-lit and following most of
the rules, police generally will not target you. Find out if there's a helmet law in your area, and if there is, suck it up
and wear one, at least while you're making a deal.
Remember that laws vary from state to state so you'll want to double check laws in your area. In my area, it's legal for
the police to pull over a bicyclist for not having lights or plainly visible reflectors, but there is no helmet law. The police
can pull you over if you are riding in the street, but if you're on the sidewalk and following pedestrian rules, they cannot
do anything, unless you're endangering other people. Bicycles also have the added advantage of being able to quickly move
through park and forest trails, where cops don't tend to go, but pot smokers do.
So the main thing to remember on a bicycle is to stay well-lit. Make sure your headlight and rear flashing
light have enough battery power to last your trip. And if you can do it without feeling too ridiculous, you can wear a reflective
vest . Few people would jump to the conclusion that a guy wearing something as dorky as a reflective vest
could be a drug dealer.
